Mission Statement

St. Mary of the Annunciation School will provide a Christian atmosphere where happiness, enthusiasm, and industry prevail. Students are valued as unique individuals, who will be assisted by school administration and volunteer staff to learn to integrate Gospel values into all aspects of life, including sports.

Purpose

The purpose of the North Shore Catholic Elementary School Basketball League, the Cross Country program, and the Cheerleading program is to strengthen school relationships, help schools provide a total program for youth, promote clean sports under supervision, help develop better physical conditions and athletic skills among boys and girls, and foster a better feeling of friendship among the various participating schools.

All coaching and parenting should reflect this purpose. It is well to keep in mind that this is an elementary school sports program. Concern for players’ readiness for high school athletics is not the purpose of sports programs at the elementary school level.
